Construction of the Ross River Solar Farm has commenced. To reduce dust affecting nearby residents, construction personnel are using water trucks to wet down areas where land disturbance is occurring.

With water restrictions in place, our firm intent is to use existing bores near the site to provide the majority of water we require during construction. In some instances though, the controlled use of town water will be necessary to supplement bore water, particularly to ensure our dust reduction efforts are effective.

While our use of town water is authorised and metered, we are working proactively to limit its use and will continue to source most of our water from onsite bores, as always intended.

Reducing dust and other potential construction impacts that may affect nearby residents continues to be our primary and immediate priority.
